INSTITUT VERMOND

With the inception of the college in 1979, it emerged as the pioneer and leading tutorial college in Klang. The excellent tutorial support given by the faculty of teachers complemented and supplemented the Ministry of Education’s mission and objective of producing quality students, particularly in Klang.

Vermond’s experience and quality education attracted students of all races and the college produced many top achievers. As such it started to register population exceeding 2000 students per year over the past twenty to twenty-five years. As a result, the college has served more than 30,000 students and has become a household name in Klang.

Currently, the college caters tuition support for students from Form 1 to Form 6. Hence, we prepare the students leading to examinations such as the Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR), Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and also Sijil Tinggi Pesekolahan Malaysia (STPM). The Center has a capacity of accommodating approximately 400 students at any one time with classrooms designed for conducive and effective learning.

At the moment, the college also conducts full-time SPTM programme and more than 150 students have enrolled in this programme. Upon successful completion and sufficient grade, the students will gain admission into the degree-programmes offered by the local public and private institutions of higher learning in the country.

Institut Vermond is located in the heart of Klang town and near the Klang Bus Ternminal and KTM Commuter train station.
